Post-Acne Spots & Hyperpigmentation

Illustration of Post-Acne Spots & Hyperpigmentation

Illustrative example, not a client photograph or treatment result.

What you may notice

Flat brown or grey marks can remain after a breakout has settled. These marks differ from indented or raised acne scars.

Possible contributing factors

Inflammation can prompt extra pigment production. Picking, irritation and sun exposure can prolong uneven colour.

Options to discuss

Discuss pigment-focused care using selected tranexamic acid, niacinamide or arbutin formulas, alongside daily sun protection. A 4-butylresorcinol peel or other exfoliation may be considered after irritation is controlled. Flat pigment marks and textured scars need different plans.

Your skin. Your personal plan.

Your actual treatment plan will be decided after your consultation and skin-analyzer assessment, taking your skin, sensitivity, health history and goals into account. The analyzer supports our assessment; it does not diagnose a condition on its own.
